Introduction
The SILVER STREAK was exported from
America to Australia in 1921-1922.
Fitted with a Pierce-Budd engine
and named Miss. Broadway.
When reaching Australia the new owner decided
the Pierce-Budd engine was not fast enough
and fitted a Meadows engine
and was renamed to the SILVER STREAK.
SILVER STREAK held the water speed record
for its class for 3 years 1924 to 1927
winning 3 Bennett gold cups.

This antique chriscraft hydroplane is believed to be
the only one of its kind and one of the earliest
hydroplanes built by Christopher Columbus Smith !
